The pandemic has made us reinvent the world, routines and communication as an essential process to keep us active in an increasingly connected and less face-to-face scenario.
Faced with this inescapable reality, as a creative team, we intend to establish a communication bridge with Cuban art through its most renowned exponents, and for this we start a new section of interviews that will be called Maxima Guests.
Painter and sculptor Roberto Diago will be the first guest of the meeting, next Monday, February 15. The premiere of the section, with biweekly frequency, will take place at 10:00 a.m. that day through the social networks of Instagram, Facebook and will also be available on our Youtube channel and Tumblr.
A previous experience during 2020 with several interviews, on the occasion of the onomastics of several artists from the Maxima catalog living in Cuba, has been the path taken so far to start the new cycle of dialogues with young and established creators, always in the footsteps of contemporary Cuban art and its multiple possibilities to make us grow.
With the new season of Maxima Guests, a possibility of knowledge opens up, as well as a promising vision of the motives, desires and aspirations of renowned painters who contribute renovating figurations to the tradition of the plastic arts in Cuba.
The date has already been set. Starting at 10:00 a.m. next Monday, a satisfying experience along the paths of insular art begins.
